Nozomi never liked training on the feild, also by the lake or somewhere private. She sat on a large rock thinking of what jutsus she should work on or try. She stood up sighing, doing her hand signs "Water Style jutsu, cyclone." not wanting to waste her chakra she make a smaller cyclone then usual, though she could have done a much better one.

Matt laughed from behind her as he saw the small tornado. "Now come on, Nozomi, please don't tell me you got to the rank of Jounin with that?"

A smirk came across Nozomis face as she did some different hand signs and she created a wave, which Lakes normally did not have and she knew that, and drenched Matt with it, she turned around and looked at him, smiling, "You were saying?" she asked.

"Ack!" Matt was hit with the wave and he fell backwards. As the wave slid back into the sea, Matt was soaked. "That was uncalled for!"

Nozomi put her hands on her hips and smirked, "Nah, I'm sure it was called for..." she replied to Matt.

Matt laughed a bit. "Well, do you want to have a little sparring match?" He stood back up and shook himself off. "I've got a new jutsu that I've been itching to try out..."

"Alright." she replied to him. "Just don't kill me or anything...."

"Of course not..." He laughed a bit and grabbed his sword.
He made a few hand signs then slammed down his sword in the direction of Nozomi, not using much force as he didn't want to wear down his chakra, or hurt Nozomi. The earth began to split apart as a wave traveled down from Matt's sword to Nozomi.

Nozomi simply moved away from the crack in the earth. Nozomi did some handsigns and concentrated her chakra on the ground around Matt, and the earth moved up around him, making a sort of cage around him, of course if he couldn't get out, she'd break it for him, but she knew he could get out of it.

Matt smiled as Nozomi simply jumped. "You're gonna have to do better than that!" The crack changed direction and started going towards Nozomi once again. "Now... about this cage.."
"Let's see if this works..." Matt made a hand sign and lightning began to glow around his sword.
Matt slammed his sword into Nozomi's cage, hoping to break it.

Nozomi kept running in different directions, thought she knew that wouldn't work. She didn't some different hand signs this time, concentrating on the jutsu Matt had done, and she made the cracks go two different ways and then soon after stopped.
She then watched Matt in her rock barrior, seeing if he would break it soon.

As Nozomi looked towards the cage, she would see that Matt was gone.
"Boo!" He yelled from right behind her, and softly squeezed a pressure point on her neck.

Her eyes got wide, that pressure point thing that people do, always hurt. She turned around quickly and punched his gut then rubbed her neck where the pressure point was.

Matt went to block her punch but he stopped as he sensed a large chakra source coming from someewhere. Nozomi's punch connected, knocking him back somewhat but he didn't care.
Matt looked around as he tried to find the source of the chakra. "Nozomi, can you sense that...?" He asked.

Nozomi looked at him and nodded, "That hurt by the way..." she said, about her pressure point. She turned to head to see if she saw anybody controling the large amount of chakra but saw no one.
